Blinding white luster, beautiful uniform locking, and great conformation! Domenica's white color was a bit of a surprise with her medium brown dam and sire Crown Prince who passes color through . . . except this time. She is exemplary of the ideal white suri with very correct conformation, extreme fiber coverage, uniform locking, and density. Her 2017 histogram yielded 18.1 AFD, 4.49 SD, 24.72 CV, and a comfort factor of 99.03. She is a beautiful little girl and should do well in the show ring and in the breeding barn.
Domenica's dam, Safina, is an outstanding full Peruvian 4X Champion, approximately 3/8 Accoyo, by the deep maroon herdsire Fox Run’s Peruvian Nomar, a Macgyver son. She is a gorgeous light brown female with unbelievable density, luster, coverage and conformation. She has that amazing “soft rolling skin” that breeders love to see. Safina is a stand-out female. Safina made her show ring debut at the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee and was awarded Reserve Color Champion! She has since won Color Champion at the Carolina Show in 2011, and Color Champion at the MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show, as well as Reserve Color Champion in halter at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee in her regrowth fleece.
SBS Crown Prince is the sire, a 12X Champion himself, and he continues to pump out multiple champion offspring with high luster and density. Crown Prince has allowed color to pass through and has produced black offspring from non-black dams, too. We are excited to have these genetics on our farm with Domenica and hope that she will continue the champion tradition with her and her offspring.
Domenica birthed a July 2019 cria from PIVAL Son's Revelation, a multiple champion who sheared 12 lbs in his 9th fleece. Revelation produces intense luster, fineness and a uniform lock. WRSR Patriot by Revelation is a male, solid white cria with beautiful luster and lock. Domenica is currently rebred to Revelation for another great cria in 2021.
