ANTONETTA of FFSA

SuriFemaleWhite
AOA# DOB: 6/16/20149 yrs
After the loss of our 2014 AOA Reserve Champion, WMA Peruvian Antonio, what better namesake for his female offspring than Antonetta. With her fine, consistently locked fleece, her name lives up to the Swedish meaning of "Priceless" and the Latin meaning of "Praiseworthy". Come and visit Annie during our upcoming fall tours at the FORT!...

SuriHerdsire (Male)White
ARI# AOA# 31884969   DOB: 8/14/201112 yrs
Upon returning from Sunday morning church service, we were pleasantly surprised to see this brillant, white cria standing proudly in the pasture. He looked at us as if to say, "Where ya been?" Being the third junior herdsire born on our farm, this lustrous, energetic cria was quickly named Fort Fisher's Thomas Jefferson (aka Jefferson) after our third president and author of the Declaration of Independence. Just as the President doubled the size of the United States through the purchase of the Louisiana Territory from France, we trust this up and coming herdsire will double our "territory" with fine, lusterous, consistently locked crias. Jefferson received First Place (out of six) ...

Fort Fisher's Dolley Madison

SuriFemaleBeige
AOA# DOB: 6/11/201112 yrs
Dolley was born at 7:40 pm, up on all fours, and racing down the pasture lane within 15 minutes! Her luster is phenomenal with that greasy feel that all suri breeders long for! Rewind, her sire, "is demonstrably the brightest white Suri Alpaca in America" according to Andy Tillman in his Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) research; Rewind has definitely passed those characteristics on to Dolley! Her consistent, independent locks shimmer in the sunshine. Dolley, being our fourth cria born on the farm, was named after our fourth U.S. President's wife, Dolley Madison. She was well known for her hospitality and also saved the Declaration of Independence from the fire in Washington D.C. du...

FORT FISHER'S MILITIA

SuriFemaleLight Fawn
AOA# DOB: 6/6/201310 yrs
In the American Revolution, the militia or "minutemen" were courageous, armed civilians who swore to be ready to fight in a minute's notice; they had little experience with organized warfare but were experienced sharp shooters and therefore, a great asset to the American soldiers. Fort Fisher's Militia has been quick on her feet since the day of her birth and thus, her name. Millie has the perfect typey head with the fine, light fawn fleece of her late father, WMA Peruvian Antonio. Millie's 5 yr. fleece wt. (7.6#) is above the 2018 National average! She is also an easy birther and attentive mom! Feel free to visit Millie at the FORT at our upcoming fall tours on the farm and see if...
