Bella's Dusty is almost 2 years old now, with shining light fawn slick and drapey fleece. He sheared a 4 lb blanket in 2015 for his 1st shearing at 21 months of age, and his fiber is well-locked and lustrous. Dusty was never shown, although his sire, Yodi's Creation was a 9X Champion. Dusty's conformation is good with the exception of an underbite that will lessen as he ages and gets his adult incisors. He has a nice personality, beautiful fleece, and will produce years of highly lustrous and beautiful fiber that can be dyed any vibrant color. Dusty is Gabriele's "buddy", and we would like to see them go together to the same farm.
Dusty's sire is the 9X Champion, Yodi's Creation, a dark fawn who consistently adds luster, density, and lock to his crias. Although Dusty has a fawn sire and dam, he has grey in his background from his 2nd generation grey grand sire, Yodi. His sire, Yodi's Creation, has time and again proven that his heritability of density, fineness and luster come through when bred to females needing improvement in the fleeces of their crias.
Dusty's dam is Carabella, who was never shown, but should have been. She is the daughter of 4P Meteor, one of the the most gorgeous deep dark maroon in the country at the time. Meteor went on to sire many well known champion sires for Park View Alpacas, including Cantano of Peru, who Alpaca Ventures purchased for $265,000 at auction. Cinnamon Twist is a FULL SISTER to Cantano of Peru, and their common dam is 4P Cale.
