A champion in his own right, Apollo's offspring are consistently placing well in large, competitive classes against some of the top east coast suri farms.

Apollo definitely fits into the elite-fibered male category. As evidence of his strong genetic potential, even after 5 shearings he is covered from topknot to toes in distinct fine locks which exhibit high luster and a silky handle. He consistently produces approximately 9 pounds of fleece per year.

Apollo's conformation and presence are tough to beat. A large, heavy-boned, well-proportioned male with good stretch, Apollo is the product of a full Accoyo sire, Accoyo Ace, and an Allianza dam, Blanca who is now deceased. His reproductive record is equally impressive. Apollo settled his first female at the age of 18 months and usually settles in just 1 breeding. He continues to maintain an ideal temperament - calm and easygoing and effortless to handle.

Apollo's offspring are consistently exhibiting their sires' desirable traits including great "lock and luster," density of fiber as well as substantial bone and a commanding presence. His crias have ranged in color from white to fawn, brown and even BAY BLACK and even GREY! He is extremely effective at producing dark offspring out of dark dams without sacrificing fleece quality.
