Azteka is a stunning pattern female with beautiful high luster brown and white markings. She is upright, showy, and has a great disposition. I really liked Azteka's flashiness and her fine fleece. Here is a beautiful "Pinto-Appy", a combination of both pinto and appaloosa patterns. MacTavish's parents were a pinto female, Azteka and an appaloosa male, Fusion. Not only is MacTavish "eye candy" for the pasture, he is also very friendly and curious. He has a great personality and is already halter trained and ready for the shows. He may be shown in either the grey or multi classes as his blanket may qualify him as a rose grey. Only time will tell, as he is changing colors as he gets older. MacTavish has a beautiful high luster, heavy lock style. As you can see in his fleece photo, he is showing more and more rose grey coloring in the light portions of his fleece.
Azteka, his dam, is a wonderful producer of very fine fleeced crias. Her first appy cria with Fusion was Kazmere, who won multiple championships in halter and fleece. HIs sire, Fusion, produces a high percentage of appys, and most of those go on to the shows to win championships and placings in the top 3. Fusion is very mellow and easy to handle, when when breeding, and has great conformation and fleece. His crias have all had that great disposition and beautiful fleece, too.
