We recently acquired Stingray, and were blown away by his histogram for an almost 5 year old male (55 months) that is a brown appy! While he appears a solid color in the upper part of his blanket, you can see he inherited spots from his award-winning sire and has a spotted pattern on his belly, inside legs, and part of his lower shoulder. His fiber stats are impressive, and he is retaining fineness and uniformity as he further matures:

This large boned female is something else! Such a personality!! AND, she has pretty consistently produced appy offspring when paired to an appy male. Her sire is a dark appy, SBS Stingray, from Tinker's Creek alpaca program. Her dam's sire is the well known 6Peruvian Accoyo Crown Royale. With this kind of bloodline , you can't go wrong. Peaches has lustrous fleece with nice lock structure. She had a textbook delivery and is a great mother. Her cria is from our own herdsire, WRSR Peruvian Kamikaze now owned by Rainbow Mountain Alpacas.
In 2018, Peaches gave birth to RainbowMountain Kamikze's Kaiten, an amazing female appy cria with a beautiful fawn color with darker spots and an amazing lustrous fleece. She has produced many beautiful appaloosas over the years, all with great color pattern and a lovely fleece. In 2021, she produced RainbowMountain Kamikaze's Chameleon, another beautiful appaloosa by WRSR Peruvian Kamikaze
We decided to go another direction with her for a 2025 cria, by pairing up with multi-champion H&S Independence aka Indi!! And she did not disappoint, giving birth in late August to a beautiful fawn female with some fantastic fleece and maybe a few spots and greyish tinge too!! We don't like to sacrifice on fleece quality just to get spots, so if we happen to get a few spots on this cria AND some gorgeous fleece, we won't be disappointed!! This female cria is very similar in coloring to her previous cria Rainbow Mountain Kamikaze's Kaiten that was fawn at birth but changed into a gorgeous grey by the time of her first shearing.
Indi has the ability to improve on many fleece traits, especially since Peaches has some pretty nice fleece to start with...as she should, with SBS Accoyo Crown Royale in her pedigree! We think he will add density and lock structure to her offspring; she already has very nice luster and handle!
Peaches is offered with her 2025 female cria. She can be rebred to multi-champion herd sires, many with top EPD's and great color.
