Cartella just had a medium fawn male cria with beautiful lock and luster!
This is one solid female, now 9 years old and 11 months pregnant. She is large boned with correct conformation and built like a tank. Her color is a beautiful deep maroon, and her fleece still has locking characteristics, although much less than when she was younger. She sheared a 3 lb, 4 oz blanket in May 2015, and produces a lot of fleece year after year.

Bullet was impressive from the moment we first laid eyes on him. He just glistened in the sun with his tiny wavy locks of hammered copper. His regrowth fleece looks like flowing copper with individualized wavy locks that are densely packed to the skin. Bullet sheared over 5 lbs for his 2nd fleece (1 yr growth), which is quite impressive for a male less than 3 years old. He is tall, with proportional longs legs and long neck, and he is still growing, having to put some weight on that big frame. Bullet's AFD in 2015 was 24.5 with an SD of 6.1. His sorted grade is a non-hairy Grade 2, with tons of beautiful uniform coppery fiber. Fiber samples are available upon request for breeding purposes.
Bullet's sire is Yodi's Creation, a 9X Champion dark fawn by Yodi (Medium Rose Grey), and himself a multiple champion. Yodi's Creation has both Accoyo bloodlines and grey in the background. His crias consistently had improved characteristics in the fleece.
His dam is AV Peruvian Cartella, a proven foundation dam who produces award winning crias year after year. She is large boned with correct conformation and built like a tank.
