Open Farm  Day Saturday, Sept. 30th,  10-4 pm 


Join us for a great day of fun and learn about the fiber arts from shearing to

finished product. 

  • Try your hand at spinning, weaving, and felting
  • See the alpacas after being shorn with their annual haircut!
  • Interact with the alpacas
  • Shop for yarns, washed and dyed fibers, raw fleeces, alpaca socks, and many handmade items.
  • Food and beverages available, picnic tables for enjoying your lunch
  • Meet Kalahari, Hailey, Marengo, and many more friendly alpaca babies
  • Fresh brown eggs and all natural grape jam for sale
  • No dogs, please!

$5 donation per person requested to support the event.  Shop at the store, spend $29 or more and get $5 off your total purchase.  Limit 1 per family.

Learn Continuous Method Triangle Loom Weaving

Coming this fall!  1-5 pm on a Saturday - call if interested!

It's Easy and Fun!
Create Beautiful Ponchos, Vests, Handbags, and Throws
 

Learn how to make a beautiful hand woven triangles and learn patterns for making them into hats, ponchos, purses, vests, and blankets.  Take home the skills to make them on your own.  Bring your own loom, or purchase one from Looms by Jim on eBay so you can finish your project at home.  Some class looms are available, but cannot be taken home.  We use 3 foot triangle looms to make high fashion scarves, ponchos, purses, and afghans.  The class will be taught by Patti Anderson of Wild Rose Suri Ranch and Kathy Hartka, fiber artist.   We provide weaving yarns, including alpaca yarn, and personalized instruction. Class will be held at  the Wild Rose Suri Ranch in Havre de Grace, MD from 1-5 pm.  Sign up early, as space is limited to 8.

The cost in only $80.00 for a fun learning experience and creating a beautiful hand woven item!
