“National Alpaca Open Farm Days”

Saturday & Sunday, September 25^th and 26th

11am - 4pm

Harford County’s first and foremost alpaca farm, the Wild Rose Suri Ranch, will participate in the 5^rd Annual “National Alpaca Farm Day” declared by the Governor of the State of Maryland, on Saturday and Sunday, September 24^th and 25^th, when alpaca breeders from across the United States and Canada will invite the public to come to their farm or ranch to meet their alpacas and learn more about these inquisitive, unique animals. 

From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm , Wild Rose Suri Ranch will welcome guests to join them for activities including a FREE “Intro to Alpacas” seminar at 1:00 pm, watch a demo of  spinning fiber  and then shop for unique gifts made from alpaca, including yarn made from our herd of alpacas, as well as alpaca clothing. Of course, you may want to consider even owning alpacas and choose from many of our national champions and their offspring.   Purchase suri alpaca yarns, fiber, clothing, and many great gifts for early Christmas shopping! 

Don't forget to bring your camera for plenty of photo opportunities while you walk among the baby alpacas in the pasture.  No dogs, please.
