WRSR Peruvian Zydeco

Zydeco has kept us guessing on his color since birth. He started out as a bay black, became a true black at about 9 months old, and now is turning into a stunning black and grey/white reverse appaloosa! He currently has 15-20 grey and white spots about the size of a dime throughout his blanket, and is maintaining a true black base color - stunning! His conformation is superb with very heavy bone, a wide stance, and strongly balanced proportions of his neck, topline, and legs. His bite is excellent. Zydeco is very well developed for his age and we fully expect him to be breeding by his 2nd birthday in August 2010.

Angelinn, Zydeco's dam is one of our top producers on the farm, giving us championships with each cria. Her crias do not develop their density until after their 1st birthday, but they typically will shear 7-8 lbs of fleece on the 2nd shearing and onward.

Zydeco's 1/2 brothers (out of different sires) have become top show winners and herd sires: WRSR Peruvian Mercury Rising (grey), 6x Champion WRSR Maxx Macgyver (med fawn), and WRSR Peruvian Solaris (med fawn).
