Ranch Profile

Copy of New barn2 0701_cmps.jpg (65266 bytes)The Wild Rose Suri Ranch specializes in Suri Alpaca Breeding. We are a mid-size breeding operation of 60 alpacas specializing in the production of Exceptional Peruvian Suri alpaca bloodlines.  Our animals are specifically selected for their fiber characteristics, production, easy-going dispositions, and conformation.  Come see the fine quality and colors available, as well as experience first-hand the value of personal attention.   Our alpacas are well-socialized and easy to handle - we spend more time with each one of them in an effort to socialize them to potential new owners Copy of Marie, Kayla, Lena_cmps.jpg (65869 bytes)New Suri Alpaca Breeders and investors appreciate the advantage of being able to have fun with their new alpacas while safely handling them.  Alan and Patti are joined by Patti's mom, Marie Brown (right) who owns New Horizons Suri Alpacas and resides on our ranch.  Marie owns a  herd of 12 Peruvian suris, and has won multiple championships with her alpacas too.

As a Suri Alpaca Breeder, we have a variety of colors of pure Peruvian Suris on the farm:  white, light fawn, dark fawn, maroon, black, grey, and dark brown.  We produce "fancies" or multi-colored and patterned animals from our breeding program as well.  We have invested in several of the top bloodlines like Magnifico, Accoyo, Bruxo, and Rufino.   Our pride and joy was WRSR Peruvian Maelstrom from our own breeding program that won 2 Grand Championships at the AOBA 2000 National Show for Best Suri Yearling (all color groups) and Best Fawn Male Suri (all ages).  His first offspring have arrived and are winning at the shows.  We now are excited about  WRSR Accoyo Razor, an Accoyo Baccarat son, who has won multiple championships and is producing crias with awesome fleece and conformation.

(ARI) which is the only registry recognized for the US and is also recognized by the Canadian Llama and Alpaca Association.   Look for our herd identifier "WRSR" in the names of alpacas at upcoming shows and sales.   The are also DNA blood-typed, and microchipped for traceability.
